Swami rolled up to the BBC Birmingham HQ in The Mailbox last Tuesday to record some interviews to promote the upcoming “Live & Louder” Tour. One of the interviews went out that very evening on BBC WM. And here it is! Enjoy

On the 27th March 2011, Swami recorded a BBC live session at the legendary Maida Vale studios to be broadcast later this year…. here’s a quick look behind the scenes!

We’re happy to announce that we’ve agreed to headline the “Live & Louder” tour, 3 dates across the UK in May and June.  Click the poster to see it full-size.

You’ll find the dates listed to the right, with links to the individual Facebook event pages. All the proceeds from this tour will be going to Caudwell Children – who provide support, specialist equipment and much more to sick and terminally ill children. On that basis, we would urge you all to come down, support the cause, and hear exclusive tracks from our forthcoming album, performed with the full live band. We’ll be doing a lot of promotion for these shows in order to raise as much money and awareness as possible, so we really hope you’ll all be there.

The rumors are true… we will be EXCLUSIVELY PREMIÈRING new material at Eastern Electronic Festival at The Factory in Birmingham on Friday 4th March.

After 18 months of recording the new Swami album we are now finishing the final mixes…but unfortunately we will not be performing a full live show just yet at the Eastern Electronic festival…however DJ Swami and S-Endz on the night will reveal the crazy new Swami songs and rhythm bending beats for the first time…all that waiting is going to be worth it!

While taking a break during a recording session working on our song “Tonight” for our upcoming 2011 album release, we discovered that Katy Perry’s song “Teenage Dream” seemed to work over the same chords. Luckily the camera was rolling and we got a little clip of Sups singing it! Shame he didn’t know all the words…. lol.

Things seem a little quiet right now in Swami-land. That’s the nature of the beast once tour is over. I’m sure some of you are wondering “Where are Swami and what are they doing right now?” Well, the tour is over, and that means we’re hard at work behind the scenes.

Diamond opted to stay in North America after the tour was finished, and caught a flight out to San Francisco to continue tweaking and mixing the album. S-Endz is back in the UK, unleashing electric forces from his fingertips as he works on some solo material, and is pondering the best ways to let you know that the new Swami album WILL blow your mind. Sups touched back down into the real world sometime in July…..however, we’ve been unable to decipher the cryptic symbols contained within the updates he makes from his Blackberry, and as for Liana? We hear she’s tanning on a maurers zayiflama hapi Zayiflama haplari
beach somewhere mastering the art of looking flawless whilst opening a jar of salsa…..
